WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Hopkins Counseling is located at 111 Prospect Ave Suite 201 B Kirkwood, MO. If you are coming southbound on Lindbergh/Kirkwood Road you will make a right on Prospect Ave which is the first street after the garden shop. Turn into the second parking lot and located the double glass doors. Once you have entered we are the first door on the left.

 

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN COUNSELING?

 

This is a great question and while I want to provide you with an answer to every question you have, the truth is that counseling is a very personal and unique experience. What I promise is that I will work with you to make sure that you feel comfortable discussing topics that may be affecting the rest of your life. In counseling, I will walk with you to take that step into uncomfortable discussions but the truth is that they help grow awareness which leads to a life of a more genuine you.

 

HOW MUCH DOES COUNSELING COST?

 

My rate is $120 for per counseling session. Often counseling can cost $150 - $200 per session but I am committed to offering affordable therapy for.  My number one goal is to provide support to those asking for it. Please give us a call to speak to us about this in more detail, the last thing I want is to make counseling another burden on our clients.

DO YOU OFFER A SLIDING SCALE? 

 

I am dedicated to supporting you and I want to make counseling an option for those who ask for it. I can offer lower rates that are based on a client's need. I only have a limited amount of these sessions available and they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. I also have a limited number of sessions available for college students who need reduced cost counseling services. Please call to inquire if there are any reduced fee session times available at this time. 

 

 

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

 

One of our goals at Hopkins Counseling is establishing a safe, judgment-free and confidential environment. I made the choice to not accept insurance in order to provide our clients with more security in regards to confidentiality. There are a large number of insurance companies which will reimburse you some percentage of the money you spend on therapy.  I would be happy to provide you with a bill that you can send to your insurance for reimbursement. Additionally, you may be able to apply your employer’s Flex Spending Plan or Health Saving Account, applying pre-tax dollars to therapy costs, or claim the therapy costs as a tax deduction.

 

 

AM I RESTRICTED BY DAYTIME HOURS TO SEE MY COUNSELOR?

 

Office hours are by appointment only. To better serve our clients I provide both daytime, evening and Saturday appointments. In order to set up an appointment please call or email me to set something up that will work with your schedule.
